A-level Art and A-level Design will develop your intellectual, imaginative, creative and intuitive powers. You’ll also develop investigative, analytical, experimental, practical, technical and expressive skills, an aesthetic understanding and critical judgement.
Studying the A-level Art or A-level Design course will also allow you to gain an understanding of the interrelationships between art, craft and design and an awareness of the contexts in which they operate as well as knowledge and understanding of art, craft and design in contemporary society and in other times and cultures.
