Kaylee Hong

Regional Director, North/South East Asia

Kaylee is responsible for recruiting students from North/South East Asia. She works closely with agents to ensure proper information about Kings programmes is delivered to potential students. She is responsible for overall logistics and management of her region’s marketing strategy which can include hosting overseas fairs, seminars and supporting agents in their marketing efforts.

“I have been working in the international education industry for the past 7 years. Prior to that, I worked with disadvantaged children and was a public relations account executive. In between those jobs I found the time to get a postgraduate degree in International Affairs and Management. I love to travel, meet people from different culture and eat strange food from the far sides of the world… which is exactly what I get to do at Kings Colleges!”

Fung Fung Jin

Marketing Support Assistant

Fung Fung’s role at Kings is to help students find the right course to study. She also helps them to settle into their new environment, making their study as smooth as possible. Fung Fung works with both Kings colleges and educational agents in order to achieve the very best result for the students.

''I am originally from China and have been living in the UK since 1998. I am married with three young children. I love what I do. My job provides the best opportunity to use my knowledge of Chinese and English, not just language, but also the cultures and people. When I am not working I love to spend my time with my kids. We love to go on holiday, camping or travelling as a family. I enjoy travelling to different places and spending time abroad, meeting people from all over the world."

Karen Bradley

Manager, Central Marketing Unit

Karen heads up the Central Marketing Unit which provides support for the overseas marketing team and agents.  This includes coordinating new agent registrations, maintaining and updating the agent database, assisting with enquiries and quotations, organising agent visits and distribution of brochures, marketing materials and promotional communications. Karen also produces statistical information for the marketing team and assists with the arrangements for industry events and exhibitions.

“I have been working in international education for nearly 20 years. Before Kings, I held various positions at Study Group including Admissions Manager, Systems & Training Manager and finally Director of Admissions. I have also hosted international students for several summers.

"Outside of Kings, my one-year old daughter keeps me very busy!  I enjoy sports, including swimming, skiing and I captain a netball team in a local league.  I love travelling and in the early part of my career I took a year out to travel round the world visiting various countries in Asia, Australia/New Zealand, USA and Canada.”

Theresa Patton

Marketing Administrator

Theresa provides general office support within the marketing unit to both agent partners and internal colleagues. She deals with agent enquiries, Agent Questionnaires and Agent Agreements as well as assisting with managing, maintaining and updating the Kings agent database.  Theresa also deals with direct student enquiries along with processing brochure and material requests.

“After finishing college to work as a Medical Secretary for two years I then joined a School Tour Operator company as Receptionist and then School Tour Co-ordinator. I then spent 9 months travelling around the world in the early 1990’s.

I have spent 12 years of my career in the international education sector. I've held various positions including Admissions Co-ordinator, Admissions Supervisor and Year Round Admissions Manager. This has given me a wealth of all-round knowledge for both student and agent requirements.

I have a young energetic family and I enjoy travel, swimming, eating out, socialising, reading and activities with my children. I also enjoy helping on school trips with my children and assisting with reading in their classrooms when possible."

Wayne Matthews-Stroud

Head of Marketing Content & Photography

Wayne creates the content which appears in all Kings Colleges printed and online marketing materials. He is responsible for producing all photography and video material as well as stories, articles and general editorial content.

"I've produced images and stories for the international education sector for nearly seven years now and have conducted many photo shoots in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. I am always fascinated by the wide range of different people and life stories that I find at Kings and every shoot or interview is always new and different. Meeting and photographing our students is fun, exciting and I've made a lot of new friends along the way."

James Allwright

Head of Design

James joined the team in March 2009 and is responsible for creating all of the designed materials for Kings. This includes everything from producing business cards and letterheads, right the way through to the conception and design of this website and the main Kings brochures.

“It’s been a busy year! We’ve rebranded, produced a new website and totally re-imagined our 2010 marketing brochures. There’s always a constant (read:heavy!) flow of work coming into the studio, but fortunately I love what I do! When not working on projects for Kings I spend a lot of my time perusing design blogs and visiting design and art exhibitions, which keep me up to speed with current design trends. I also love the great outdoors and you can find me most sunny weekends either climbing hills with my wife on our mountain bikes, or bobbing around the sea in a kayak.”

Olga Goss

Regional Manager

My international education experience began in 1995 in my hometown of Moscow working for two well known Russian agents recruiting students to study abroad.

After meeting my future husband to be (who was the Regional Manager at Study Group) I inevitably, became part of Study Group. I worked there for nearly 6 years and had a chance to see the way the industry works from various angles: from Marketing perspective at the Regional office in Prague, Admissions at the IAC in Brighton, Counsellor - in the Direct Students department and even as a Host family (which was a great fun!).

I then had a 5-year break looking after my young children and have recently joined Kings Colleges.

Kings is great – I get to do the job I love and with people I like in the sphere of international education which I have always enjoyed so much, within a growing educational organisation which has a great variety of locations and courses, brilliant academic results and a strong history and tradition. And, as a bonus, most of my former work friends are now my work colleagues at Kings! One of them I liked so much I even married him!
